Mission June Sets Vaccination Target The inoculation drive in the state is being followed up with full vigour as the government is determined to provide vaccine-cover to all citizens. Vaccination is the only raksha kavach (armour for protection) to deal with Corona, according to CM Yogi Adityanath. In keeping with this, he has set a target of inoculating 10 crore people in three months. And the efforts are on with Mission June, the CM's initiative that is set to ensure an upward graph in the vaccination dirve. Approx 2,50 crore people have been vaccinated in the state. Sharing his views on the numbers achieved, CM Yogi said. Vaccination is the only reksha kavach to prevent coronavirus infection. The government of Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with the Central Government, is determined to provide vaccine cover to all its citizens at the earliest. Under CM Yogi's effective initiative "Mission June" the vaccination figures are increasing rapidly on a daily basis. The aim is to inoculate one crore people in 30 days. Special pink booths have been established in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh to encourage women and daughters to get inoculated. Two booths in every district have been established and are already functioning. A total of about 150 special pink booths have been set up in all districts. The Yogi-led government has given instructions for camps to be set up in district women hospitals or district joint hospitals. If needed, similar camps will be set up in Tehsils as well. In an aggressive campaign against Covid-19 instructions have bene given out to make speical arrangements for socially and economically weaker sections too. For the same, a special vaccination drive for drivers vendors, vegetables sellers, and rickshaw pullers was launched on June 14.
